But instead of turning to any of them, the mayor has brought in some rich amateurs to help him find a big fix.If I were a New York taxpayer, I’d want to know where the money will be coming from once this initial funding runs out. If I were a parent, I’d be worrying about whether or not the funding will come from my child’s school.The private side of this partnership put up $15 million for a plan to open or re-imagine forty schools. This is peanuts, and not nearly enough money to get a new school off the ground."
