Here's at least some of the answer to what happened down-ballot. Not wanting to be too strangled in politics, let alone partisan, I want to understand the full picture and my place in it: to make it better however I can. I still have trouble understanding how anyone could vote for a president who ignores the pandemic and watches people dying, or doesn't, without a backward glance. Are people who ignore climate change or don't understand the crisis it denotes, just as guilty as Trump? At least some of them.
