Lots of facts and areal argument: "The best way to preserve gun rights is a reasonable regulatory scheme that ensures gun ownership is responsible and safe. Gun regulation is necessary and good. Resisting reasonable gun regulation because you think the Second Amendment prohibits it is flatly wrong and contradicted by actual constitutional law. Resisting it because you think the government is about to become a totalitarian autocracy and you are the last line of resistance keeping the American experiment alive is delusional fantasy. It is past time for the cause of gun rights and the cause of public safety to meet together for the cause of sensible gun regulation. The Second Amendment was not written to protect your right to feel cool, and it was not written to encourage a society of atomized gun-wielding sovereign individuals."
