In a rare personal comment on the Sergei Skripal scandal, Russian President Vladimir Putin lambasted the former double agent as a “traitor” and “scum.” The sooner the media noise around Skripal ends, the better, Putin said. [If the U.S. "officials" exhibited half the sense, restraint, and intelligence that Putin regularly displays, I'd be truly delighted.]
