Washington Post writer Phillip Bump uses info from Mark Judge's autobiography, "Wasted: Tales of a Genx Drunk" and Kavanaugh's calendar to pinpoint the likely day of the alleged attempted rape of Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford.

Christine Blasey Ford revealed a salient detail when she said that six to eight weeks after the alleged attempted rape, she bumped into Kavanaugh’s accomplice friend Mark Judge at the grocery store, where he appeared to be employed. According to her, he turned ashen when he recognized her.  After that testimony the WaPo uncovered a passage in Mark Judge’s book, Wasted, that identifies a brief period when he worked at a grocery store, enabling a calculation of possible timing of the incident.
