Fani T. Willis, the district attorney in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday unveiled an indictment of former president Donald Trump and those who supported his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state The indictment is Trump’s fourth, and one of the most-watched nationwide, in part because of Willis’s aggressive and high-profile pursuit of the case. Her investigation went as far as forcing top-tier Trump insiders to testify before a grand jury. People close to the Fulton County DA say her investigation of the former president reflects her bold approach to sensitive topics and seemingly untouchable targets.
