Kall: Didn't people laugh at that press conference? I thought I saw on TV, people laughing at this guy's report?
Gold: I didn't actually see all of it, but what stood out for me, you know, if this were the only "extraordinary event that took place on 9/11, then maybe I wouldn't look at it again; but as Dr. Griffin can attest to, there were a multitude of "extraordinary events" that took place on 9/11; so when I saw that, it made me do a double take. To what NIST was telling is with regard to the towers and WTC 7.
Griffin: You know when you look at the overall story still from the point of view of the main stream press, what we're promoting is a ridiculous conspiracy theory—when you look at the "official" conspiracy theory, it's the most absurd conspiracy theory that's every been invented; if somebody had written this for a movie, it would have been thrown out of the room; you know, and just say, 'that is so absurd nobody would have ever believed such a thing.'
Let me go back to the evidence of the highjackers. One of the most absurd things is that they knew there were highjackers on the planes because under the World Trade Center towers after they collapsed, they found a passport of one of the highjackers from Flight 11.
Kall: Throwdown!
Griffin: Pardon?
Kall: Throwdown!
Griffin: (laughs) --you know, and that one clearly didn't pass the giggle test; so they just changed the story—'cause some reporters said that was a little incredible, so they just changed it, and said well, no, they actually found it before the north tower collapsed.
