Trump has attempted to block Daniels and Cohen from the upcoming trial, claiming he doesn't know Daniels similar to his abysmal behavior in court during the E. Jean Carroll trial. The effort by Trump ultimately failed when Judge Juan M. Merchan rejected the bid, set the original court date, and has now implemented a gag order for the trial.
Whether he likes it or not, Donald Trump will see the inside of a courtroom in 2024 and now cannot discuss witnesses or anything about the hush-money trial. We will have to wait and see if these women are witnesses in the trial and if the common system of pattern and practice will throw Trump and Cohen in jail if they are found guilty.
