Overcoming Barriers -- Cooperative Mercado Central, Plaza Latina and Global Market arose from a project of the Latino Economic Development Center, established in 1994 with a small group of Latino immigrants in Minneapolis. Presenting is John Flory, LEDC Special Projects Director, who has more than twenty years of experience in micro-lending and small business development support. He played a lead role in developing business incubator Mercado Central.

A Fresh Approach -- Evergreen Cooperative Laundry is part of a growing network of Cleveland worker cooperatives, developed by the Ohio Employee Ownership Center at Kent State University, in partnership with the Democracy Collaborative at the University of Maryland, the Cleveland Foundation, and ShoreBank Enterprise Cleveland. James Anderson, the cooperative's CEO, presents.
