Environmental Sustainability - The Core Issue of Our Times

How do we stabilize the environment? The environment has become unstable because global society is over consuming the resource base. The industrialized societies are over consuming by a factor of six to ten or more. The only way to fix this is to begin implementing programs to reduce consumption and rebuild society using a more stable and sustainable model.
