Americans don't think this way. Their focus is centered upon empirical rationality. In the 19th and 20th century American growth was based upon a compulsion to expand westwards, from coast to coast, towards Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines. What forces prompted this American Manifest Destiny now defined under the generalized term American Exceptionalism? In today's political climate, this means that America has the right to do whatever it wants under no physical or moral constraint. However, in the current Age of Outsourcing, American power is not centered upon its uniquely favorable geographical position. Instead the internationalist clique now in control of American policy sees military might as the hub of its strength. The American economy is presently based on this, but it is illusionary and can come and go. Geography however doesn't change and neither do the principles of geographical power. With America's true source of power exported (its people's wealth and their well-being) America's innate geographical supremacy is squandered for the temporary assets of the few. This can only end in disaster. Halford John Mackinder:

Who rules East Europe commands the Heartland; who rules the Heartland commands the World-Island; who rules the World-Island commands the world.

According to Geopolitical doctrine, the Eurasian landmass, or World Island, is the center of the world: not the Pentagon and Federal Reserve Bank. This idea was established in the 19th Century and nations still act as if it were true. Since Germans ruled East Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries, this theory fit right into Pan Germanic notions of Blut und Boden (blood and soil) that see a magical interaction between humans and earth; the one influencing the other on hallowed ground. Hence the compulsive Germanic expansion to the east; the fabled Drang nach Osten that would control the World-Island. The Kingdom of Prussia, Imperial Germany and Hitler didn't invent this. It predated them. They acted upon it because they were in a unique position of power to do so. If Hitler, as de facto German emperor, didn't invade Russia and Ukraine, he would have been discarded. Trying to psychoanalyze Hitler's actions in terms of his oedipal relationship with his mother won't ever get to the point. Germany is an eastern European nation. It is western only in that American social institutions were shoved down its throat upon catastrophic defeat. Eastward was the course they set for 500 years. If it weren't Hitler, some other Germanic nationalist would have invaded Russia and Ukraine. Never considering the possibility of defeat, they rolled the dice and came up empty. This is why Germany won't comply with the latest American demands in Eastern Europe: they already got their asses kicked by Soviet Russian Armies not too long ago.

The World at War

The explosion of the Atomic Bomb is the most significant event of the 20th century and was the product of the World War that has raged since 1912. They call it various names like The Balkan Wars (1912-13), World War I (1914-23), World War II (1936-1945), the Vietnam War (1945-75), and the unnamed Wars of the Ottoman Succession (1912-2022) that still rage throughout the Middle East. It's all one war fought to satisfy the needs of the Military/Prison/Industrial Complex that rules western civilization and profits enormously from the bloodshed.

The World War II phase was remarkable for its devastation and the conflict still determines the shape of world politics. In 1939 Berlin was in the center of Germany and 350 miles from Warsaw. Geographically Berlin is (of course) still in the same place it ever was; but not relative to Poland. Berlin is no longer in Germany's center but instead lies close to its remade eastern edge; now only 60 miles from Poland. The cataclysm of defeat in 1945 abruptly and violently shoved Germany's borders and peoples westward away from the World-Island. Today the Heartland is owned by Russia and Ukraine with Poland close to them both. Thus we see American military adventures in Poland and the Baltic States with the threat to station troops and missiles in Ukraine. Tragically, 19th Century minds direct American policy in the 21st Century.

American political action behaves as if old-school Geopolitics directs it. And apparently it does. But there is no sense of reality about it because the old theory is archaic. America (north and south) is now the World Island and has been since Hiroshima was obliterated. But the American political classes don't recognize this. Thus we see Trump's America First policy discarded by a new internationalist administration. Trump was not a lone cowboy seeking the Presidency as a business venture. He had guarantees against assassination and the backing of elements in the US Army that want to withdraw to more sensible operational boundaries closer to home. His first National Security Advisor, General Flynn, represented that faction. The globalists that control the DOJ, CIA and FBI managed to quickly frame them both up. Power shifted away from America First to them. Choking on ignorance, America's media, academic, and politico flunkies just went along for the ride. Suddenly obsessed with the Kiev-Moscow alignment like children with a new toy, they are willing to risk nuclear war to empower Ukraine while destabilizing Russia with blockades and embargoes. How can the fate of the Ukraine and the Crimea be of any geopolitical interest to the United States? It has none. Ignorant of historical developments because their jobs depend on it and blinded by imaginary military omnipotence, America's ruling and academic elite stupidly stumble towards Armageddon for no apparent gain whatsoever.
