What other conclusion can one make?

The US government is notorious in breaking all the treaties it signed with the indigenous North American Indian tribes.

Then there's the verbal agreement made in 1989 between Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev and the Bush Sr. government not to move NATO "one inch" eastward if the two Germany's were allowed to reunite. That was initially broken by Clinton in 1997, "Dubya" Bush after him then Obama and finally Trump. NATO now stands at Russia's doorstep.

With Ukraine President Zelensky early in his tenure talking about joining NATO and getting nuclear weapons plus his army ready to initiate a new massive attack into Eastern Ukraine Russian President Vladimir Putin chose to preempt Ukraine's plans and initiate his own special military operation into Ukraine which has been raging there since February 24.

Now with winter coming, the ground freezing and with the addition of some 300,000 troops, Russia is likely to mount a huge offensive into western Ukraine and possibly force an end to the war.

Over the past month Russia has been destroying Ukraine's electrical power grid throughout the country in retaliation for Ukraine attacks on the Crimean Kerch bridge.

Despite the US and its European toadies supplying $billions worth weapons to Ukraine Russia is clearly winning the war.

There are no negotiations to end the war at this time but when it does end Russia will likely dictate the terms.

That's what victors do when all wars end in their favor. Only the US hasn't come to the conclusion its proxy war in Ukraine is a lost cause.

It won't admit defeat. It never has. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan All lost but US hubris prevents that admission.

The same thing with Ukraine.

Only this loss will be more significant because US sanctions against Russia have backfired creating high food ,energy and inflation in Europe and the US. Meanwhile Russia's economy has benefitted with higher gas and oil prices and increased trade with countries outside the sanctions regimes.

These sanctions are also forcing Russia along with China, Iran, the BRICS+, Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries to develop their own financial transaction system outside of SWIFT, bypassing the dollar which eventually could replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency.

What has transpired these many months is primarily because the US ignored Russia's security concerns it mentioned one year ago.

Now the US and its western toadies are about to reap the whirlwind.
