And as I write this the news reports that the President does not consider the public health option critical to his health plan. This is already after he abandoned -- if he ever really supported -- the single-payer option. The howl of ignorance works. The big money of pharmaceutical and insurance companies works. The two are probably working in tandem, which may be the topic for another day.
