Some anti gay people just don't see themselves as bigots

We're not asking you for anything, we're telling you we're going to take our rights as citizens and if you get in the way, we'll run you over gleefully. You are the same people who tried to stop blacks from exercising all of our American rights and are still fighting the Culture War. We will crush all you bigots. And, no, I don't believe you when you try to sound so unbigoted; saying "not because we hate gays, not because we fear gays, not for religious reasons or fear of change". Those are the exact reasons you are signing on to Ref 71. You Republicans are incapable of stating the real reasons for your desire to change America, so you lie and come up with lying reasons. Bob Dylan and I just want you to know we can see through your game. You don't stand a chance.
