Think carefully. Reflect. Do you know anybody who fits that description?
Oh yes, actually, I am certain that you do know somebody who fits that description.
For you, Sir or Madame, you yourself have put both the U.S. State Department, and the U.S. citizens generally, into a very difficult position.
What should the U.S. State Department have to say about our Congress, now that the same violations have occurred right here in America?
On June 20, 2008, 293 members of the US Congress incredibly voted to encourage the U.S. Government to undertake the same abuses for which, amazingly, the U.S. State Department had previously cited the Russian government both in 2001 and again in 2006.
It is truly too bad, for Americans, that the U.S. State Department was too busy defending citizens on the wrong side of the planet, because it turns out that you all should have been protecting AMERICAN citizens the whole time.
In all due respect, have you gone batshit insane, Sir or Madame Representative? Have the lot of you discarded your oath to defend the Constitution, wherein you swore to protect Americans from abuses by our government? You are the police of the government, as vested by our Constitution. Where are you now?
Is Russia, of all countries, your new model for American liberty? Really? Please tell us, when did lawbreakers in the Russian government become your preferred model of freedom and safety, Congressman? We are not even talking about the Russian government members who actually obeyed Russian laws, Congressman. The U.S. State Department cited lawbreaking, of Russian laws, by members of the Russian government.
