THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT LISTENING TO US BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY DO NOT HAVE TO!
When we let them get away with it then we give them permission to ignore us. They are not accountable to us. What in this contact (Our Constitution) holds them to the terms?
It is found here in Article II Section 1 Clause 8:
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
The other mention in the Constitution regarding the Legislative or Judicial branch's oaths is a passing statement in Article VI Section 3:
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, SHALL BE BOUND by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. (Emphasis is mine)
"Shall be bound" what does that mean? That means that simply mouthing an oath does not meet the duty of office. THEY SHALL BE BOUND! If they are not bound to their oaths then they are traitors or enemies of the Republic. If they pass and enforce legislation that is blatantly Un-Constitutional then they are in breach and are traitors to the Republic and the People. If they have not "BOUND" themselves to an oath then they are enemies of the People.
