As many have seen our country spiral downwards due to the many lies told to all of us through the Bush administration, I would say that many have partaken to drinking the sand when they truly thirst for water.
In relation to Al Gore, I have always said, “I thirst to drink from the cup of intelligence” I am sick of the insolence and the incompetence we have been fed these seven long years. I also abhor stupidity and we have seen plenty of that coming from President Bush.
If there was one thing I would write on that petition being circulated by the Draft Gore movement, it would be to remind Al Gore of his very words at the 2000 Democratic National Convention when he said, “I will fight for you! Are you with me?” If Al Gore chose to enter this race, I would indeed fight for him and the very future of what should be our Constitutional democracy.
Whatever his decision is concerning this race, we owe Al Gore a debt of gratitude for speaking up on behalf of our planet, Mother Earth. She has been crying out in these past decades and he in fact heard her. As many live the life of convenience, he has truly reminded us all of an inconvenient truth and we owe it to future generations to learn from not only his lessons, but the lessons of the countless scientists he has worked with.
From the bottom of our hearts, Mr. Gore, thank you for your selfless work on behalf of this planet and congratulations on winning the Nobel Peace Prize. This is a prize that no judicial body can take away from you.
