You think I’m making that up don’t you? Well I’m not; our entire Congress, at least the ones who attend and aren’t sleeping, will listen to a dissertation that centers around the hazards of explosive dust that has occurred in some processing operations.
I can’t think of a subject more important at this point and time, or one that Congress would be more of an expert on. These people aren’t experts on coming in out of the rain without the chickens as a cue…let alone explosive dust. Is OSHA on vacation or something?
One of my readers sent me a nice note yesterday and in good humor from the Obama line, mentioned that they are grain farmers in rural Iowa “clinging to our guns and Bibles.” I thought about that and concluded that if everyone were doing the same…America would be safe and well fed.
So what do you say; how about we send farmers and ranchers to Congress and send Congress to an explosive dust environment to give them a better handle on the subject?
