Neither should the destiny of 4 Million Israelis define the rate of progress for 7 billion human beings served badly by international organizations. Indeed, the very creation of Arab Union would provide some motivation for Israel to come to a settlement with the Palestinians ...where there is currently no motivation for a settlement today. In fact, Israel, can take the lead and help establish a new world order centered in Jerusalem for a new United Nations! Jerusalem is uniquely positioned on the globe as one of the few places where its business hours overlap with business hours in the Far East and North America. Israel, can replace New York as a center for the United Nations.
Once these Unions are established the whole UN System can be transformed. Membership of the Security Council and the General Assembly can be modified. Finally, I see the creation of these Unions as being inevitable.
The United States can help shape them or fight them. But it is an inevitable conclusion whose time has come.
