The Closing the Gap Statement is shut down,
no more Kevin Rudd to say he's sorry
for a teary Nation's.... It gets gory --
like a kookaburra going to town.
Now the Left will hold annual Sorries
amongst themselves, mates, and well-paid elders,
and share the shame of guiltlessness. Fellas
no longer care to hear Stolen stories.
And thus it is and thus it shall remain,
long as the rain falls mainly on the plain.
