Even though many environmental groups have been bought out and infiltrated by wolves, there are still a myriad of them telling the truth. Unfortunately, nothing is changing. It is silly to think that exposing the problem, or telling the truth, will influence the entrenched political corruption and/or cause the necessary changes to occur. After all, the forces that are profiting while our spaceship Earth overheats are the same forces that control the media and other "psyops " campaigns that are pulling the strings to keep the human herds supporting carbon-spewing, perpetual war and other ways to give profit to a few obscenely rich psychopaths (ORPs).

The conservative think tanks are funded with mega millions of dollars from the ORPs, finances used by the think tanks to use Lippmanns' and Bernays' techniques to insert "news" and "opinion" into the mainstream media in order to convince the human herd that they need truly need to keep burning fossil fuels and supporting the military-industrial complex or our economy will collapse; their smart phones will turn on them; they will be nuked by fanatical _________ from ____________ (you fill in the blanks) and everyone will get Ebola. With all the governmental and private psyops going on, the herds do not have a chance.

Education levels and science knowledge make little difference when instincts are manipulated. Reason does not apply. Just think of the weird economic theories that have been foisted on cities, agencies and countries. Consider the austerity nonsense, where a country, school district, pension plan or any other target is sadistically starved in order to make it function better. There are many examples where this has failed (for all but the 0.1%) and none where the entity improved. Still, silly herd members are convinced to continue accepting it. Play on aggression and greed and you can get a blue-collar tea-bagger to scream for a cut in his neighbors' wages, or convince college-educated person we can stop another economic crash by further deregulation of the institutions that caused the crash soon after they were last deregulated. And, of course, they had typically been regulated in response to an earlier crash.

ORPs control the wolf packs that run the mainstream media, control many of the churches and have infiltrated our schools. Big Brother is here and he snuck in so stealthily that many herds do not even realize the sheep dogs have been replaced by the wolves. When I talk science or politics with acquaintances, see a glassy looks that appear in their eyes and listen to them parrot the latest spin, I cannot help but laugh and think of the movie, The Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Considering the increasing skill and stealth of the wolf packs and their unlimited financing by the ORPs, I see a bleak ending similar to that in the movie. I do better understand the human need for religion these days, but still wish the wolves were not guiding the "flocks," feeding on them while assuring them of facts that are impossible to know.

I am a happy old man with little to lose and I choose to view the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times" as a blessing. I very much enjoyed my revelations regarding herd behavior; it explains a lot that has puzzled me, and I am excited to watch how this plays out. If I see "reasoning" behavior in bees and wasps (which I suspect occurs), a behavior I definitely see in goats, dogs, jays and many of my other non-human friends, I will write of that revelation, too.

I deal with the contradiction of being a retired mechanical engineer and a Luddite at the same time. I have lost faith in our government: it is totally controlled by the corporate monster that is gobbling up the world. It uses mechanical (more...)
