In Washington D.C, the Secret Service has cut the power to the Venezuelan Embassy in an attempt to terrorize the lawful guests of the legitimate Venezuelan Government. Similarly as Marco Rubio jumped the gun in his tween about Venezuela's power grid, it was learned and later proven that the U. S. Government and forces of Juan Guaido were behind the power failures in Venezuela that killed innocent people who were on life support. Former Presidential Candidate Gloria La Riva has noted that, though Nicolas Maduro diverted as much power as possible to the hospitals, patients on life support needed continuous power and some died. Similarly, U. S. Sanctions have killed 40,000 of people in Venezuela.

The Secret Service is blocking food and water deliveries to the Embassy Protectors and is standing by and protecting violent anti-Venezuelan mobs who have been accused of sexually assaulting and otherwise attacking those who have shown up to support the Embassy Protectors. The abuse of the Embassy Protectors in violation of U.S. law and the Vienna Conventions parallels the violations of national and international law by the U.S. Government against the legitimate Maduro Government of Venezuela.

On her educational tour throughout the U.S, Gloria La Riva, who recently visited Venezuela along with some of the Embassy Protectors during the U.S. orchestrated blackouts, was very impressed with the efforts of the Maduro Government to protect and support the Venezuelan people. She spoke of the growing spirit of the Venezuelan people, who have banded together in support of Maduro in spite of violence perpetrated on them by the U.S. Government and Guaido's conspirators in the inappropriately named white supremacist Popular Will Party from which Juan Guaido comes. The U.S. equivalent of Venezuela's Popular Will Party is the Ku Klux Klan. The Popular Will Party is armed and has, at times, fired upon civilians, killing thousands. The vast majority of Venezuelan residents are Black and Indian and they will lose their homes and their standard of living if Guaido's white supremacists are put into power.

Years ago, Hugo Chavez became the popular hero of Venezuela, having stood up as a military hero against a government that killed 3000 Venezuelans in a one week period during 1989. For standing up and speaking out, Hugo Chavez was put into the formerly treacherous prison system in Venezuela in 1992 but was released following public outcries in 1994 In 1998, he was elected President of Venezuela. Unlike the Rafael Caldera Government, Chavez's Bolivarian Revolution was based on the idea that the resources of Venezuela belonged to the people.

In addition to putting into place the kind of reforms Bernie has called for in the USA, Chavez reformed the prison system, making it humane and protective of the rights of the inmates, something it was not when he was held prisoners. On his death bed, Chavez spoke to the Venezuelan people and asked them to support his Vice President Nicolas Maduro to be their next President. Maduro has expanded on Chavez's reforms, building millions of new homes in the last few years. In Venezuela, people own their homes and cannot be evicted. As a result, there is no homelessness. The government provides boxes of food to the people bi-weekly, supplying all their food needs. This has been necessary because of the U.S. sanctions and the theft of foods from the supermarkets by black market profiteers. The supermarkets are currently full of food but the boxes of food provided to each family has alleviated any financial difficulties in purchasing the food.

Venezuela also has free medical care. 2400 doctors (not military people) were sent from Cuba to help provide the free medical care. The U.S. Government has been blocking medicine shipments. This has caused problems to people with medical conditions. Russia and China are trying to assist with providing the medicine the U.S. Government is trying to keep out in order to save lives. While the U.S. longevity rate has gone down, thanks to the reforms of Chavez and Maduro, it has gone up in Venezuela. The infant mortality rate decreased by half within two years of Chavez taking office. It has increased in the USA.

Gloria La Riva has been invited to many universities across America to tell the truth about what is happening. This is important as CNN is falsely claiming that Juan Guaido was elected. He never even ran for President. Michael Pence called Guaido up the night before Guaido declared himself President. All experts who have studied the Venezuelan Constitution say that there is no Constitutional basis for Guaido's declaration. It is as if Ilhan Omar simply declared herself President. While that might be a desirable outcome, it would be as valid under the U.S. Constitution as Guaido's declaration is to the Venezuelan Constitution.

In America's May Day marches, the most popular signs were those in support of Maduro and Venezuela. In Los Angeles, ANSWER ran out of pro-Venezuelan signs long before the march, due to the non-stop requests for those signs. Despite CNN's, MSNBC's and Government lies, the majority of the American people are standing with the Venezuelan people. What will Trump do with those Americans supporting Maduro if Trump decides to attack Venezuela?

Hate groups have shown up to try to close down the educational sessions. One session ended early at UCLA due to angry white-supremacist mobs scaring the Venezuelan supporters. However, according to a show of hands at the end of the events where Gloria has spoken, the student participants are almost unanimous in their support for the Maduro Government.

Among those leaders opposing U.S. intervention in Venezuela are Congresswomen Tulsi Gabbard and Ilhan Omar and Senator Bernie Sanders. However, they have a fight on their hands given the oil money the Koch Brothers and the Trump Administration expect to receive if Maduro and the will of the Venezuelan people is overthrown.
