Just after noon on Thursday, February 24, I received this report from Konstantin Schegilov in Crimea. It explains the latest progress of the armed forces of the People's Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.

In brief, it shows that ordinary Ukrainians in the military are surrendering their arms and retreating peacefully for the most part, while the fascists/ nationalists are left to fight alone while the Ukrainian heavy weaponry and air support is being systematically destroyed by the Russian military.

If reports of attacks on Ukrainian cities are false and this report true, it would seem that there will be no need to worry about Russia having to attack any Ukrainian cites as they proceed with de-Nazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, as promised.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops and citizens are being treated with respect by order of Russian high command, according to the report. It will be interesting to see how the West spins these developments. Will they continue to characterize future terrorist actions of the CIA-trained stay-behind forces as "false flags?"

The report:

Updates on Briefing of the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Major General Igor Konashenkov:

"The armed forces of the DPR and LPR continue counter-offensive operations against units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fire support from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Currently, in the area of military operations, resistance is mainly provided by armed groups of nationalists.

Servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces are trying to evade combat clashes and agree on corridors for leaving the operation zone without weapons.

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, gave special instructions to all unit commanders to treat Ukrainian servicemen with respect.
