A state of affairs, taxing reason, logic and sanity
Try to keep it reined-in to cool, clinical, cerebral parts
Albeit, forever betrayed by a warm, beating, bleeding-heart
The worthless, filthy-rich get richer, so as to astound and confound
Whilst needless, grinding, poverty and desperation, permeates and abounds
Just more of the callous and monstrous same
Dire, tired, twisted, and insane
Behold the name of the game
