They're saying it's because someone in the Sanders campaign accessed some Clinton campaign information. But what they're not saying is the reason this happened is the company the DNC hired to maintain and manage the database has repeatedly allowed lapses in the security"wall" between campaigns using the database.When it it happened, the data manager for the Sanders campaign peeked. When the Sanders team management found out, they fired him. The truth is, for all know, the Clinton campaign could have had access to the Sanders campaign data. We know who the public trusts when it comes to honesty. You can decide for yourself whether Clinton would use the data.
So, a vendor employed by the DNC screws up again. Data becomes accessible. A rogue employee does what he shouldn't. The DNC, at least partly culpable, since this had been happening before, massively over-reacts taking away access to a key campaign tool.
This is an outrageous additional abuse of power by Debbie Wasserman Shultz. She should be summarily removed as head of the DNC. As polls are showing, Bernie Sanders performs better against all the GOP candidates. Wasserman Schultz's undemocratic interference with the primary process could destroy the Democratic party.
1- Fire Wasserman Schultz
2- Return access to the campaign database for the Sanders campaign
3- Investigate whether the Clinton campaign has accessed the Sanders campaign when the vendor's software dropped the security "wall."
4- Add additional prime-time debates to the Democratic presidential primary schedule. No more of these Saturday night hidden debates that conflict with Iowa major sports events.
5-Hire a new, more competent company to manage the DNC database program.
