Is this it? Will the ridiculous, juvenile,
dangerous official Pentagon policy on gays in the military of "Don't Ask --
Don't Tell" finally be put to an end? Congress is considering its
repeal in December, but the Pentagon has released a report of testimonials from active duty military
and their families expressing their desire to see the harmful policy ended once
and for all.
Along with the report, the Pentagon also released a 95-page Support Plan for Implementation that will go into effect immediately upon repeal of the DADT Act. All military services are prepared -- ready to go.

"Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned Congress that failure to quickly repeal the ban would expose the military to a potentially disruptive court ruling. 'It is only a matter of time before the federal courts are drawn once more into the fray, with the very real possibility that this change would be imposed immediately by judicial fiat,' he said, calling that 'by far the most disruptive and damaging scenario I can imagine, and the one most hazardous to military morale, readiness, and battlefield performance.'''
No kidding. The question is, will Congress listen?
