Israeli NGO Peace Now issued the following statement:
Figure. Peace Now, May 05, 2022: "Meet Jaber & Raya, citizens of no state. On the eve of Israel's 74 Independence Day the Israeli Supreme Court legitimised their expulsion, alongside 1000 other Palestinians, with the excuse of using their land as "firing zone". No settlement will be evicted by said firing zone."

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel, which represented the Palestinians in this case, issued an unusual statement this morning.
Figure. Association for Civil Rights in Israel, May 05, 2022: "In the dead of night, with no advance notice, an unusual judgment with particularly serious implications was issued yesterday, legitimizing the expulsion of about 1,000 Palestinian men, women, children and the elderly from Masafer Yatta in South Hebron Hills. For 22 years the residents have been fighting the eviction notices, issued by the Israeli military, in the Israeli Supreme Court. In the early 1980's the military declared their homes and private lands a firing zone for military drills. In the early 2000's eviction notices were issued. And now, the Supreme Court certifies rendering whole families homeless, including children and the elderly. Happy Independence Day, Israel."
