TEXT:
Michael, we know what you say is true. "All the wrong people are in prison in this country." and that Wall Street is home to "the biggest criminal operation that this country has ever seen" and not one of them has gone to prison for what they've done," and we also know that "we invade countries. We send drones in to kill civilians. We've got five wars going on right now where our soldiers are killing people--I mean, five that we know of." [1]
Michael, if we know all this, and yet do not call for the full force of the law to be put into effect in prosecution of these crimes against humanity, are we not acting as Accessories After the Fact, in "hindering the the felons apprehension, trial, or punishment." [Quoting from the Text - USC Title 1 8 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE click here "ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT = Whoever, knowing that an offense has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact; one who knowing a felony to have been committed by another, receives, relieves, comforts, or assists the felon in order to hinder the felon's apprehension, trial, or punishment." ]
Michael, what else is going to stop our criminals creating the "American DNA of killers" through their control of 98% of the sources of public information from Kindergarten up through University reaching into our homes and children's minds?
In Bowling for Columbine you gave us the most astounding in depth killer DNA wake up film ever made - it went in one ear and out the other into obscurity, so thorough is the commercial mass media disinformation and psyop of fright, materialism, egoism and fascination with violence.
There is only one thing left for you to do. Lead a public call for the prosecution of US crimes against humanity under the Nuremberg Principles Laws, the World Peace Act, both of which for many decades have been part of the US Constitution by its Article Six that makes all Senate ratified treaties an integral part.[see Prosecute US Crimes Against Humanity Now Campaign click here
Michael, if you call for US crimes prosecution, not just prosecution of a few of Wall Street's hired minions as fall guys, Americans and citizens abroad, especially in victimized populations that have suffered under a lethal US foreign policy will follow you. Then we will not only protect our children and theirs, but prevent Wall Street leaders from bringing about the horrific use of the WMD they are so very heavily investing in with an eye to greater wars and greater profits.
Our Michael Moore now has his eye on, and finger pointing to, the source of the wars and thievery. But these self-lobotomized ledger line automatons, automatically commodifying life on earth, will go on marketing collateral mass-murder until they are forced to include the threat of imprisonment in their amoral calculations.
Martin Luther King Jr. taught that 'all US atrocity wars and homicidal covert attacks are meant to maintain unjust predatory investments.' [ see King Condemned US Wars http://kingcondemneduswars.blogspot.com/]
As Kim Peterson, co-editor, Dissident Voice, has sensibly cautioned, "Justice is required, otherwise what would serve as a brake on future war crimes?"
MICHAEL'S FELLOW LUMINARIES SEEM TO FALL SHORT OF ACTUALLY LEADING A PUBLIC CALL FOR THE PROSECUTION OF US CRIMES AGAINST PEACE AND LETTING INDICTMENTS FALL ON WHOM THEY MAY.
Noam Chomsky has said, "America must prosecute its own war criminals" - progressive antiwar leaders in effect answered,'No!'
Chomsky's and Ed Herman's "If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then
every post-war American president would have been hanged" is treated as a
humorous aside, for most think that Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy
Carter, Ronald Reagan, John Kennedy, 'Ike' Eisenhower were nice guys,
opened CIA files incriminating them in crimes against humanity
notwithstanding.
Former US Att. Gen. Ramsey Clark, author of US War Crimes in the Gulf, solemnly states,
"The greatest crime since World War II has been U.S. foreign policy."
Very few disagree, but calls for the logical prosecution of crime are
not heard.
Obama's long time minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright's "God Damn America
for her crimes against humanity" was highly publicized as a infamy, or
wild exaggeration.
