On Message Dems Lack Republican Creativity

With the elections looming it seems the Democratic strategists have wasted another year without one iota of the creativity that is helping Republicans take control of the Senate. There was the Republican advertisement where a young woman was trying on wedding dresses. There was the spelling bee advertisement where a student was asked to spell Jeanne Shaheen and she spelled it O-b-a-m-a and the judges said, "close enough."

Republican politicians stand for the wealthiest 66,000 Americans, opulence beyond our wildest dreams. It's time that Democrats get on message and point out the obvious: Republicans stand for these multi-million and billionaires. Get on and stay on this message, and do it creatively. Instead of lashing out at Republicans make them seem less than worthy. Here is an advertisement I wrote for Alison Lundergan Grimes:
EXT. NEW YORK CITY STREET
A limousine pulls up to a red carpet. A well dressed man steps out.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Mitch McConnels buddy's get it.
Cut to
INT. SPA
A fat man is wearing a towel and getting his face creamed with some fancy lotion. He has cucumbers over his eyes.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
To get ahead you've got to de-regulate Wall Street and let the special interests have their way with Washington.
INT. FANCY OFFICE
A well dressed man counts his money.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
But what Mitch McConnell's buddies don't get is Kentucky family values.
EXT. FRONT PORCH
A woman swings on a front porch and reads to her child.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Allison Lundergan Grimes does. She knows that Kentucky families don't live in New York City on the Upper East side.
EXT. A YARD
A father plays catch with his son.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
That's why she's committed to protecting Kentucky from special interests that don't understand what we hold dear.
INT. DINING ROOM TABLE
A family bows their heads in prayer holding hands.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Good paying jobs. A solid economy for all. That's what Allison Lundergan Grimes is committed to providing Kentucky.
