Our country has been in a state of decline and regression for many decades from its former position in the world as a leading inspiration for human progress and democratic ideals. Your presidency represents the very nadir of this downward trend. There is no where to go but up.
Historically, you and your administration, by your shameful acts, may be singled out as the main impetus for the inevitable reversal of this debasement of government. You may be responsible for the re-awakening of the American spirit to its potential of leading the world by moral principles towards a universally just and peaceful future on a healthy planet. You could be credited for making America genuinely great.
