For too many decades the American people, by which I mean the people born and raised in the US in neighborhoods where there were family and neighbors who shared a culture, language, values, and history, have sat tolerantly while a tiny percentage of the population took away their culture by making it offensive to the tiny minority for Americans to live in their own culture.
For example, as John Whitehead of the Rutherford institute makes clear in his statement below, Americans are no longer allowed to practice Christmas outside their own homes. Homosexuals might be out of the closet, but the vast majority of Americans have been shoved into the closet.
Whitehead gives an accurate account of Americans' inability to enjoy a public celebration of Christmas. The tiny minority simply won't allow it and succeeded in using the Supreme Court to prevent it.
Although Whitehead describes the control over our celebrations and speech that is exercised by a tiny minority, he writes as if only the minority can be offended. Yet the United States is a democracy in which the majority, not a tiny minority, is supposed to rule.
Why is the offense to the vast majority so unimportant? Does the vast majority consist of non-people? Are we lifeforms over which the minority were given dominion? Do we -- the vast majority -- not count? If we don't count, what is the bullshit about democracy and the rule of the majority. Can anyone find majority rule in the United States? Show it to me! Where is democracy when an infinitesimal percentage of the population can erase the majority culture at will and control our speech and public celebrations?
Why do Americans, who are willing to go all over the world murdering peoples and destroying entire countries in order "to protect our freedom," so completely unwilling to protect their freedom at home from a tiny minority of Fifth Columnists who are a million times greater threat to them than any country or people abroad?
Whitehead has missed this point in his analysis because it is only the tiny minority who are vocal. The majority is silent. The question is why? Is the majority insouciant? Intimidated? Does the majority not care that they are being eliminated as voices in their governance and culture?
What kind of people are we when we are silenced by a handful of people hostile to our culture who openly declare their opposition to our culture? What are the "offended" doing here if American culture offends them? Why does the American Majority tolerate the bleeping from people who do not belong there? Why do Americans permit their internal enemies to erode their culture? Who focused Americans on countries abroad that are no threat to us whatsoever and never have been while a handful of Fifth Columnists undermine our life at home?
To a Nation of Snowflakes, Christmas Has Become Another Trigger Word
By John W. Whitehead

"This Christmas season finds us a rather bewildered human race. We have neither peace within nor peace without. Everywhere paralyzing fears harrow people by day and haunt them by night. Our world is sick with war; everywhere we turn we see its ominous possibilities. And yet, my friends, the Christmas hope for peace and goodwill toward all men can no longer be dismissed as a kind of pious dream of some Utopian. If we don't have goodwill toward men in this world, we will destroy ourselves by the misuse of our own instruments and our own power." -- Martin Luther King, Jr., "A Christmas Sermon on Peace."
To a nation of snowflakes, Christmas has become yet another trigger word.
The latest Christmas casualties in the campaign to create one large national safe space are none other than the beloved animated classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (denounced for promoting bullying and homophobia) which first aired on television on December 6, 1964, and the Oscar-winning tune "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (accused of being a date rape anthem) crooned by everyone from Dean Martin to Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel in the movie Elf.
Also on the endangered species Christmas list are such songs as "Deck the Halls" (it supposedly promotes "gay" apparel), "Santa Baby" (it has been denounced for "slut shaming"), and "White Christmas" (perceived as being racist).
