The US administration led by President Barack Obama has played a very positive role in defusing the crisis in Pakistan. A successful deal was brokered between the warring parties--one led by Mian Nawaz Sharif and the other led by President Asif Ali Zardari. Now the situation is almost normal as the government has announced the restoration of deposed chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry Iftikhar.
Though my wife and children have still been living under the open sky and waiting for the help (I am in great distress and depression), I want to appreciate the good role played by the US administration. Really there was a time when an impression has been created that the terrorists have been taking over Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
I think this was a big challenge for the Obama administration to defuse the political crisis as the country cannot afford political instability. Terrorists have been waiting for the opportunity to strike. They want to destroy this country and the whole world. The solution of this crisis in Pakistan depends on the success of US President Barack Obama.
The next step for Obama should be stressing the restoration of genuine democracy in Pakistan. Introduction of genuine democracy means elimination of terrorism from Pakistan. Elimination of terrorism from Pakistan means elimination of terrorism from the whole world as this country has remained a breeding ground for terrorism for a long time.
According to my wife Fatima, now Obama should also tell the Pakistani administration to give attention to the building of genuine democratic system in the tribal areas. I think the United States can help the Pakistani administration to build a system for the tribal areas, but the United States should take direct control of tribal areas.
There will be no denying the fact that Pakistani administration is corrupt and will never succeed in evolving a system for tribal areas. Actually they have no idea and no vision. Obama has vision and has the ability to work on building a system. A lot of people can be given the job for making the system for tribal areas as these areas have the resources in abundance, the one thing which they lack is the non-existence of system.
