To Be In Love

To truly be in love
is to be a lunatic,
you lose all fear,
lose all worldly desires
except for the beloved.

You jump into the ocean
knowing you can swim around the world;
jump upon your flying carpet
knowing it will take you anywhere.

Drop diamonds and rubies, they are of no value,
but always as you fly by,
sharing your happiness
with smiles for the world --
making even the sun jealous
because of the brightness you bring!
