To stop ISIS end the modern Crusade
With the terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels still fresh in our minds it is hard to calmly think about why ISIS is attacking us so. Everyone in most Western countries is looking for ways to enhance the security measures needed to prevent ISIS attacks. No such measures are expected to succeed however. Other approaches must be considered.
In the last few years, we have been killing large numbers of Moslems in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia and many other Moslem countries. Just yesterday, the Obama Administration started a new bombing campaign in Libya. Did we ever think that we would have to pay a price for our atrocities? Those we kill in other countries are also human beings with families and feelings like those that ISIS killed in Paris or Brussels. They feel the way we do: if you kill my mother I shall vow, on my life, to try to kill you and your family as well.
ISIS is only a symptom. It is not the disease. To stop ISIS from plotting to kill Westerners, we need to stop killing Moslems. It does not matter what explanations we give about why we are fighting ISIS, if we kill Moslems, they will try to kill us. It is as simple as that.
In spite of its disgusting and despicable acts of cruelty and inhumanity, we should look at ISIS as an organization. After looking at the Arabic founding documents, ISIS has two main aims
1. Getting rid of the foreigners and their influence in the Middle East: Over the years, the colonial powers of the recent past: mainly Britain and France and now the United States, have terrorized, killed, divided and stolen from the people of the Middle East to a degree that is almost unimaginable. The disgust and revulsion that we use to describe what ISIS does pales when compared to what the West has done to Moslems over the years as crusaders and occupiers. The West continues to attack Moslems today in what could be easily called 'a modern crusade'.
2. Creating an Islamic Caliphate in the Middle East: There is nothing in the Arabic name or founding documents of ISIS that supports it's worldwide Caliphate ambitions as portrayed in the Zionist-controlled media in the West. At present, the Middle East is governed by corrupt dictators and unworthy royals that give the people no voice on how to rule themselves. Getting rid of those royals and dictators is one of ISIS's main goals.
Historically, the entire Middle East mess was shaped by the imposition of the Sykes-Picot agreement in the aftermath of World War-I. That Agreement divided the Middle East into easily manipulated smaller states under the theme of 'Divide and Conquer'. Its aim was to maintain the imperialist British and French hegemony over the region irrespective of what the inhabitants wanted.
ISIS represents the desire of the Arabs/Moslems to rid themselves of corrupt feudal regimes, dictatorships and the occupying apartheid regime in Palestine. The fact that ISIS solidified its control over a vast territory, and effectively attracted jihadists from around the world shows that it has support from within and from outside the region. We many not like the systems they choose to live by, but that is the business of the people living there and is not ours.
The people of the Middle East have more commonality of language, education, religion, history, aspirations and culture than most other nations. In addition, ISIS, in spite of its vehemently condemned methods, is also trying to re-claim the glory and enlightenment of the Islamic culture that covered the same region and lasted over a thousand years. If we completely destroy ISIS, the people in the Middle East will still want to determine their own destiny. Never mind the divisions fanned by the Zionist-controlled media including differences between Sunni and Shiite, Kurds and Turks, Moslems and Christians"etc. These people lived together for centuries in peace and harmony. Given the choice, they will do so again.
Therefore, our approach to eliminate the threat of ISIS should include limiting our military and terrorist activities against them. Dropping daily bombs on large segments of the Middle East is killing many innocents and creating more ISIS enthusiasts seeking justice against the West. It is time to stop. It is not true that the Middle East is exporting terrorism to the West; the West is actually importing it.
