And so today I opened my email, and found a missive from 21st Century Democrats, with this word as the Subject: Â "Chickencrap!"
"Dear Friend," is how it began.  Okay, so I've never met any of these people before; how can they call me "Dear Friend?" - but that's okay with me.  It's what followed that took my breath away.  Because the Democrats were too gentle with their opponents, we have a new, incoming Speaker of the House, named Boehner.  He said, "Chickencrap,' in response to Democrats trying to extend tax cuts for those making less than $250,000 a year. Then, this smooth-talking, Republicrap went on to say, "The election was a month ago, we're 23 months from the next election and the political games have already started trying to set up the next election."
Boehner said this on Thursday. "I'm trying to catch my breath so I don't refer to this maneuver going on today as chickencrap."
He's one to talk! Â Oh my Goodness!
His buddy Senator McConnell, the man with that perfect Southern Gentleman Good Ole Boy Accent, is holding hostage ANY legislation until Democrats agree to give their millionaire supporters a tax cut!
See, folks, who supports the Republican Politicians? Â Millionaires! Â How rich are the top Republican politicians? Â Millionaires!
The email went on to say, "The fact that there is even a debate about this astounds me. Middle class families have been struggling for two years now, while the wealthiest 1%, those that may reap the benefits from the Republican tax cuts, actually increased their overall wealth."  Check this out.  It embarrasses the Republicans completely, which is why they don't bring up statistics behind these numbers!
And the email went on, "They made money during a recession and now they want a tax cut? That's just plain and pure greed."
Let me repeat that, just for emphasis:  "They made money during a recession and now they want a tax cut? That's just plain and pure greed."
So the email from this person I don't know went on to say, "This just goes to show where Republicans' priorities lie. They block unemployment benefits for American families who are suffering, while demanding tax cuts for millionaires."
And the Democrats allowed these toads to step on their toes! Â The American People --" yes, as one of our fine documents begins, "We the People," and just in case you have missed it, folks, that is us!
The email went on to say this, "We (the People) can't let this stand. We must keep fighting to protect American families. This can only be done with your help. Take a stand and show Republicans that families come before millionaires."
Now, the email wanted me --" and all of you who got it, too - to donate money to their cause. Â Problem is We The People have been consistently ripped off by the Republicans, to the point where we don't have the money to donate! Â What we can do, however, is vote these people out of office! Â We put them in there --" those Lying, Misdirecting, and Cheating Republicans. Â Those Politicians who have no ethics, no morals, no honesty, and no loyalty --" now, vote them out! Â Until the next elections, though, you can tell them what you want and clearly, what they're doing is not what you want!
What I mean is that they begged for, lied for, and got your vote, and now are going to leave you behind, because most of you are out of work, too, and not one of you is going to get a job because the Republicans, and the Tea Party People, they all got your vote. Â But like the Democrats, you're in their rear view mirrors now.
