When is life recognized...
Like Gay Marriage, where there was a need to look at legally married in the eyes of the government and married in the eyes of some church's; we also need to use the same litmus test for when government and religions recognize life.
The Federal Government recognizes a new life (or person) at birth when they assign a birth certificate and US citizenship. (See the 14th amendment).
Some Religions recognize a new life (or person) at conception. (If you participate in a religion, then see your religion's doctrine).
If you support all the beliefs of some religion's, then you may want to follow that life begins at conception.
If you do not follow all the beliefs of a particular religion, you are not religious or you are a government servant, then life begins at birth.

I am Pro-Life (and a former Catholic), but I believe that no person, no group, no organization and no government has a right over another person's body (period).
Are religions worried that legalizing abortion may make our culture more promiscuous than it is already?
Should an individual's or organization's religious beliefs override a person's right to their own body?
