Friends:

Greetings; A message for witnessing Self-Determination:

A. What can presidential candidates do when the money-cartel is holding significant chips, depriving people of the little they have in secular life, transforming them to orphans?

Facing re-election, candidate Obama:

1. showcases fortress Chicago for 'US- 50 nation NATO Summit', stepping on 99% protesters, May, 2012,

2. ordered death for OBL, May 2011, (alleged to have brought down WTC-7 to its footprint on 9/11, amongst other charges),

3. is master of predator and drone usage anywhere; drones are manufactured in Mississippi, USA, by an Israeli firm, since 2006 :

Even if there is little in these actions for united citizens of the 99%, they keep the money-cartel, (cartel: a monopolistic business combine on one or several entities), interested.

Candidate Romney is basically offering experience in a 'get rich' program for CEOs.

B. Congress chimes in:

Yes, regardless of who, cumulative wealth and privileges of members of the House and Senate should be taken care of ; under Obama, from 2008 to 2012 we were able to gain only approx. 25%, from $1.6 billion to $2.0 billion!

What about the painful experience of unemployment and the bleak financial future facing the people?

What about it ?

Governance was guided by the Orwellian confusion (evidence matters not, scientific conclusions contrary to administrative ones are unacceptable, international accords may be unilaterally set aside, truth is a lie, lies are the truth, 'saw it on TV, must be true'), that emerged at the turn of the century...

In 2001, real fear was introduced into USA daily life,

Congress passed the 'Authorization for Use of Military Force' (AUMF), 24 Sept. 2001, concurrently removing 'due process' and 'habeus corpus' provisions,

The war in Iraq was commenced on 20 March, 2003,

USA Supreme court was packed with a Republican viewpoint in 2005 and 2006,

the disoriented, 8-year political process, was soothed over allowing some debates and the election of Obama in 2008,

but, the judicial contribution of 'Citizens United', 2010, is designed to control future elections through 'identity theft' favoring corporations,

At the 2012 renewal of the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA), the Smith / Amash amendment was to restore the rights granted the people under the constitution removed by AUMF; it was defeated 182 to 238 on May 18, 2012,

while, a mindful Federal Judge had ruled a preliminary injunction against use of the pertinent section 1021 of the NDAA, on May 16, 2012.

C. Through years of unemployment, 'identity theft', and 'stealth of corporate money power in elections' beyond lobbies through 'Citizens United', the People stand weakened ; what are they to do?

Can the 'leaders' (executive, legislature, judiciary), be responsive to the needs of the People when the money-cartel, the fifth estate, is in charge, calling on them to be the 'buffer zone' denying the People their interests?

D. How is the loss suffered by the People in the selfish approach to wealth creation and consumption by corporations, banks and the global money-cartel, that practices no social responsibility, to be addressed?

Here, human spiritual concern, whatever its origin, must engage:

The "Epicurean paradox" is a version of the problem of evil. It is a trilemma argument (God is omnipotent, God is good, but Evil exists); or more commonly seen as this quote.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

This argument was a type favoured by the ancient Greek skeptics (Pyrrho of Elis, 360 BC).

Epicurus (341 BC -- 270 BC), didn't deny the existence of gods. Instead, he stated that what gods there may be, do not concern themselves with us, and thus would not seek to punish us either in this or any other life.

E. The global money-cartel 2012 AD, does not concern itself with the welfare of the people:

1. Wars are financed everywhere to make a profit, a million killed in Iraq, generations of over a million minors (<17 years of age), continuously imprisoned in Palestine for over half a century, globally 2800 million assigned to live on less than $2 / head / day, leading to 30,000 daily global deaths..., an unnecessary, loathsome, record.

2. Recently, the institutions created and nurtured by the People in an active democracy (USA), were subtly vacated by the money-cartel.

Gods may stand side.

But, for human accountability, the People must undertake the needful Self-Determination, on a national scale:

1. pass a constitutional amendment setting aside 'Citizens United' Ruling, and

2. help pass HR 2990, the National Emergency Employment Defense (NEED) Act, Kucinich / Conyers 2011-2012, that will transfer money-power to the People.

The corporations, banks and the money-cartel will continue to oppose and resist; be that as it may.

F.  As an ethical guideline, Greek philosopher Epicurus,  emphasized minimizing harm and maximizing happiness of oneself and others:

It is impossible to live a pleasant life without living wisely and well and justly (agreeing "neither to harm nor be harmed" [ 22 ] ), and it is impossible to live wisely and well and justly without living a pleasant life.

What will the People do, when they take charge of money-power from the money-cartel?

Live justly! , we could practicalize universal human rights; we could Meet the Minimum Needs of All.

The earliest extant version of the trilemma appears in the writings of the skeptic Sextus Empiricus, (160-210 AD).

Sextus is the earliest known source for the proverb:  "Slowly grinds the mill of the gods, but it grinds fine".

Awaiting,

In Non-violent Direct Action (NVDA), Peace,

Radh Achuthan.

Our top priority must be to realize non-violently Article 3 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Those of the First World population have realized Article 3 for themselves and reciprocity is a productive, healthy guideline; so, let's (more...)
