Dervish House, Neuromancer and Turkey cinema

Turk cinema has become escaping area after 1980 military impact and for ten years so until 1990's. Some absurd comedies, arabesques, romances have been made about in hundreds at this term. Politic was dangerous, people may kill or may be killed is like before 1980 and some people kills, although some people has been killed after 1980. Laughing, crying and dreaming were trend.

Turk cinema finds new areas, politic, singular-psychological, social and cultural with 1990's. Today everyone can make every kind cinema. But politic issues are not valuable for earning money and floor is too slippery, events and messages on films can go to unplanned areas, course anyone hasn't been arrested for a film now, but commercial successes may be influenced by these unplanned messages. So how people can watch singular loves stories, has social background but has main messages on singular comedy or arabesque, before 1980, they watch singular-psychological stories today since 1990's.

"Carrousel' (AtlÄ ±karÄ ±nca) is a piece from last samples. Other is "Guichet Officer' (GiÃ...Ÿe Memuru). "Carrousel' is on incestuous relation; "Guichet Officer' is on schizophrenia. Incestuous relation is hard issue for Turk cinema according to telling and commercial success. I don't know the commercial success but telling is good. 1980 military impact (Revolution), terrorism, politic murders, economic crises, politic, social and cultural changes processed the people some pursuits (Religion, Yoga, stupid TV programs), but minority people has demanded psychological sources (Irwin Yalom books and others) and this sources come into existence the watchers who demand psychological stories from directors. "Carrousel' is the result of this demanding.

"Guichet Officer' is a good film, but for someone who had watched schizophrenia films of Hollywood and European, is like me, it is a kind of experimental. I think this film is the first Turkish sample which trying west style of schizophrenia and it is successful.

European Union (EU) is a science-fiction story for Turks. Dervish House novel which has been written by Ian McDonald is on Turkey where a massive rich member of European Union at 2027. (Turkey is not member of EU today). This novel is carried to cinema by Warp Films. Novel has BSFA award.

Science-fictional "Neuromancer' novel what has been written by William Gibson and first piece of Sprawl trilogy will be film. Director Vincenzo Natali will shot "The Neuromancer' film at Canada, Tokyo, London and Istanbul (Turkey).

I think Turkey will be new science-fiction land all around the world. Turkey is like a region where hasn't been known perfectly as politic and social but has some touristic and interesting specials, is like Brasil, Japan, Korea or others where out of world politics. We will wait Dervish House and Neuromancer films.
