Bill Cosby, Fatherhood Task Force

Bill Cosby, his handlers, and his chosen, testified at a legislative hearing in Connecticut for the special Task Force on Fatherhood and Fatherlessness, December 8, 2008. There were over 3 hours of photo and video opportunities at the Hartford Capitol Legislative Office Building, the LOB, some are presented for you here on OpEd.

One child taken away from his, or her, parents, or is made to be parentless, or fatherless, may cost taxpayers as much as $600,000 per year, especially if mentally ill, disabled, or special needs. Rigged court cases, abuse of poor and minorities, and cash strapped states can get a boon in Federal Tax Dollars by breaking up families, placing children in alternative living arrangements, adopting out children, and putting as many citizens in prison as is possible. Mostly men, minorities and poorer Whites are thrown in prison after rigged "trials" and hearings. False accusations, perjury, manufactured evidence, and falsified official reports gladly accepted.

What I came away with was subdued testimony, racial issues bubbling below the surface. There was some very emotional testimony from an African American Hartford, CT, High School teacher, Greg Bartlett, talking about his father and their strained relationship. His father asked Greg for a kidney to live. [video]

Possibly jealous female legislative staffers, complain quietly, and not so quietly, among themselves, that Miss Connecticut 2006, Heidi A. Voight, Bill Cosby's quasi co-host at the December 8 event, is getting attention for being "eye candy". Heidi seems to have the charm, and abilities to possibly squash any of her peanut gallery critics with actual public relations talent, hard work, and the drive to do a good job at whatever she chooses to do.

Not really producing real products in the US in enough numbers  and the push to break up as many families as possible, will benefit a growing government--giving more, and more "work" out of abusing the citizenry at 6-figure taxpayer-paid salaries--and it will only further sink the US into the abyss.

The prison population in the US exploded tenfold from 1980 to 1999, and is even greater today. Ten years ago taxpayers paid about $75/day/inmate. The USA is the capitol of the world for breaking up families and putting its own citizens in prison for any excuse or on almost any false accusation.

What issues Bill Cosby has so daringly embarked on to help fix,  regarding improving the quality of life, and family life, is admirable. To those only thinking in financial terms, strong families make good economic sense. Intact families buy homes, cars, and goods. Citizens and children on lockdown cost those left working, more and more. Let's have more taxpayers.

Let's not criticize Bill Cosby without looking what he is actually doing. Let's help. Get out, get active, be a good American, before there is no America left for future generations.

Silence signifies acceptance.
