The Double-Webbed Spider
After a downpour on a spring night
And the thick mist following this
On a damp and misty morning
That is when one can see them ...
The double-webbed spiders...
Sitting between two soft white veils of webbing
...
All spiders have poisonous bites
Most have mouths meant for smaller prey than us
They sit in their lairs and wait
Hidden in little bits of fluff .. carefully crafted ... dotting the landscape
