US Democracy in South Asia

Long live American freedom. Long live American democracy.
The United States Of America is the most democratic nation, for it respects human rights and freedom.
Thank you for America's interest in Tibetan and Bhutanese refugees in Nepal. It shows America has a great heart. Nepali nationalists and the patriotic people who believe in a real democracy, press freedom, and human rights are happy about it. Even the strong democratic and human rights values of patriotic citizens of Nepal, fully support a secular Nepal.
Religious freedom is a real democracy and a wonderful freedom. I think fundamental rights to religious freedom, human rights and sovereignty is very important in our life.
But I don't understand why leftists group do not support and respect religious freedom and human rights? When leftists give an anti American, anti Tibetan, anti Bhutanese, anti religious speech, it gives me pain and it hurts me emotionally. Why don't leftists respect religious freedom?
As a pure democrat at heart, I wanted to say to the American people that it is a good elected, responsible government that will give rights to the people. Why then are so many people, especially Nepali people, suffering so badly?
Our great neighbors are on the way to economic prosperity but look at the Nepali people who are crying for freedom, justice, democracy and human rights. As America should know, radical groups can take situations like that one as a gap for themselves. Do Americans remember what happened in Cambodia after they installed a weak leaders? That turmoil was the chance for Pol Pot to start his horror regime and to find members who were simply disappointed by the political and economical circumstances.
America has to remember, in Germany after World War 1, when the country was destroyed and none had any hope for the future. Then people elected a man who promised them a better future and it was Adolf Hitler. The rest is known. I am convinced that like the Khmer Rouge, Adolf Hitler or the leftists would have no chance if a society is solid.
I want the American people to know, violent group have killed people from a one year old baby to 90 years old men. They murdered a whole village:a journalist, children and women.
Democracy and freedom and human rights are very hard to establish and even harder to hold onto. Leftists always hate democracies and refugees. They're messy to deal with. The best solutions are always in the hands of the people. All those in need should get help and to respect the rights of all the people. In a real democracy the people have a real say and get great social and political benefits.
When the failed leaders cannot agree on ABCs, trust and working relationships between the people and the failed political leaders will be at a low point. It is up to the people to define the framework within which to seek assistance. And leftists have a track record of converting aspiration to reality.
I am a bit surprised to read daily news that the leaders still don't seem to know what is urgent and of priority. What I am pointing out about democratic and patriotic unity are also equally important issues to defend freedom. The trouble of the modern era is based on differences, and people are suffering for no valid reasons. And, I think the very foundation of this problem underlies the lack of good leadership -- and we need a revolution to ensure that good leaders are uncorrupted from politics -- all people deserve quality leaders.
The US has always supported the cause of democracy and human rights in South Asia, and particularly in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Afghanistan.
India is already a well established nation of more than a billion people, where democracy has taken deep roots with more than six decades of democratic exercises. Pakistan is a different story altogether. Pakistan and Bangladesh are now Republics. Bhutan is a Buddhist nation, similarly Srilanka is a Buddhist nation. The United States presence in South Asia has increased dramatically with the war in Afghanistan.
Today, the United States is committed to fighting terrorism around the world. It is in the best interest of all of mankind to safeguard the freedoms and rights of the people.
