The question posed is: "Is the Second Amendment to the Constitution (the right to keep and bear arms) relevant in today's society?"

The question is focused on the issues of a Constitutionally stated right to weapons ownership by private citizens. 

Yes. It is still relevant for sport, self defense and to resist government tyranny.
