What do you do when you don't have dragons to kill? You beat up women and remove their rights. It is the new American way. Women are smaller. They can be destroyed with a single word or with a well placed blow to the neck. They fall quicker than dragons and die easier. You can even have a fun time before you finish them off. When they are dead the problem is gone. This is the war on women.
Rush Limbaugh, Rick Santorum, Larry Summers, Newt Gingrich, John Edwards, and Barack Obama. What do they have in common? If you don't know I doubt I could educate you about respect for women in one article.
The Degradation of Women.
Sl*t had become a familiar term allowing men to win arguments while degrading women. Rush Limbaugh didn't think twice before using this word against Sandra Fluke simply because he disagreed with her on the issue of birth control. He lacked the brains to come up with a legitimate reason for his point of view. So he resorted to insults.
We men get to bed as many women as we want. We can get them pregnant and throw the "sl*t" and the baby in dumpster. But we aren't st*ts. We're men. If they don't like it they're sl*ts. If a female virgin even thinks of using a contraceptive or tells us we aren't her type she must be one of those sl*ts too. It's the only explanation. And watch the redness that appears in the cheeks of a young girl when you call her that name in front of a group of people. That will teach her. This is what our society has come to in 2012. My grandfather would be rolling with furor in his grave and my grandmother would be glad she is in her grave if they saw the way men today openly and righteously treat women.
What gave Lmbaugh the courage to call Fluke a sl*t? Why wasn't he slapped down for his words? Why weren't his gonads removed? In 2012 men are sent messages from leaders, judges and society that mistreatment of women is a matter of right. Legislators and leaders do no more than pay lip service to support for women's rights.
Under current Republican gospel we must enact laws to force women to carry dead fetuses conceived through rape to term. During that time the woman has to refrain from taking any medicines that could harm the fetus. She may have to undergo life threatening conditions to maintain the pregnancy. She must die if necessary to avoid aborting the dead fetus. But she will go to heaven if she dies for that dead fetus. Isn't that a comfort ladies? The Republican agenda places the sperm of murderers and rapists above the lives of women.
