Whatever it takes, there really is no other course worth living to create or dying for in its defence! It’s a longer road back than it was getting where we are now!
We have vacated our duties in researching and following that which is undermining our very lives. Stop assuming that what you are being told is true. It isn’t! But what can we do? Find out, what did we do that made this country possible in the first place. You can read history, can’t you? Otherwise you are bound to go through that same repetition of it over and over and over again because you can’t read, that would just be too much trouble.
Try dying in a workers’ camp, would that be easier? Because, it’s coming. So what do we do to stop it? Change it!
ONE: Return to the Rule of Law.
Take this very seriously. Presidential powers must be scaled back to where we were in the past and maintained so as to not override the other branches of this government. Presidents need a wide latitude, but not so wide as to endanger our people, Constitution, liberties or the other two governmental branches. All members of each branch of America must take lessons and refresher courses every year on our Constitution, our history and other pertinent documents from our beginnings. IT IS PARAMOUNT THAT OUR LEGISLATORS, PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDEN AND MEMBERS OF THE SUPREME COURT KNOW OUR CONSTITUTION EXCEEDINGLY WELL! Based on recent news it is easily seen that they do not know our Constitution much at all. Nor do they seem to respect it, either.
Obviously, the penalties for cheating us should range to treason with a range of harsh penalties for doing America in. For those Congressional and other branches of public servants who abide in we the people, there must an array of gracious benefits and acknowledgements for those who work so hard in the interests of the citizens of these United States of America. Generous pay, retirement and medical and expense accounts should be available so as not to necessitate selling us out for mere money or power. The price of crime should be too high for any to bother trying. Free campaign coverage and no donations or personal money should be allowed in campaigns, equality should preempt all that. Since the members of government should be well taken care of by, we the people; lobbyists for big businesses must go away. Our government should be busy with the peoples’ business, not for business lobbyists. Only people can lobby its representatives. Reasonable Congressional term limits should be set, not a wide open circus as currently prevails.
Presidential signing statements should have no effect unless in Congress it is agreed upon and amended as necessary by a majority, say by a sixty percent to two-thirds majority. This, as opposed to the lack of overview currently not even recognized. All members of the three branches of American government should be subservient to a recall by the people of the several states, without exception and at any time. The Government must work for us, we the people of these United States. Police forces, the National guard and the military must be returned to their former status; and under no circumstances can private militaries or security groups be used to circumscribe our rights and our liberties. Private security and military must be made illegal for the sake of our continued existence and our freedoms. Private security may have to be inducted into the National Guard so that it is properly controlled and supervised. The number and type of government security enforcement must be reduced in number of kinds and should be readily recognizable to reduce gross errors.
Our liberties and freedoms must never again be impinged upon because of so called national security threats or any other kinds. We are a free people; all that you should be able to do is enlist some degree of our cooperation. We are not to be bullied, bullies are really cowards in disguise. What I do fear is the possibility that we might indeed be totally shut down by a government takeover. I believe it to be more possible than even most suspect possible.
TWO: Questioning Government is the Quest of Patriotism
Indeed, it is the positive reward of patriotism to improve whatever is needed to our government and impose upon our representatives what is needed to make our country better for all of us. It is to extol the merits of patriotism and to make patriotism our right as Americans for freedom for all. Dissent is the very foundation of our nation and our Constitution. It is that bulwark we have been standing upon. Standing freely upon up until recently.
It is most interesting that so named entities as the Patriot Act is unpatriotic or even antipatriotic. Any government entity with a name like ‘freedom’ exists only to take away freedom! It is an oft told tale that you do not know what you had until it is gone. Sadly, most Americans are blind and cannot see, many cannot hear, they hear the words but know not the meaning of them as those words just pass between their ears and those that see, see but do not know what they see. So numb, so dumbed down have we become? We must question, it is the very essence of patriotism!
Patriotism is not what the government tells you to say, it is what you speak out about or to your government and to your country. It is your government and country shared with and amongst all of us. Our country does not belong to the government, nor does even our government actually belong to the government. It all belongs to us, we the people.
