Tomorrow, Obama will have the power to make change happen. He surely has a big to-do list. What do you think should be on it?
We'll take some of the suggestions and put them in a poll. Meanwhile, here's a place to say your thoughts on what should be top priority.
SCHIP?
Stem Cell Research?
End of Ask don't tell.
Admit he's a citizen of Nigeria? <G>
Intervene between Israel and Palestine
Have special prosecutor appointed for Bush/Cheney
Appoint special team to reverse the massive mess Bush created.
End Iraq war
Rescue Economy
Re-open 9/11 investigations
cancel expanded presidential and vice-presidential powers Bush grabbed.
Close Guantanamo
As I write this, MLK's speech is playing. He says, "Now is the time to make real the promises of Democracy. "
Will Obama take steps in that direction? I hope so.
Will take the steps I want? Maybe not. He's appointed a great labor secretary and FCC board member. Let's hope he does a lot more we can be proud of.
Now, what do YOU think should be a the top of Barack Hussein Obama's to-do list?
