The people from north Philly were about four times more likely to reply that they'd voted. A lot of them were very appreciative, hearing from me. It was gratifying work. An amazing amount didn't know there were elections. I see this as further evidence of the news media to do their job.

Then I got to a polling station in West Mount airy, near stenton and I can't remember....

The ward committee people were supporting Valerie, not Baker Knoll. But, otherwise, they were supporting the state's Democratic ticket. I was the only caucasian there. But everyone was very friendly. It was awesome, working at a polling place where 95% of the people I approached were Democrats. And about 85% of them were receptive when I came up to them and asked if I could talk to them about two candidates.

The losses of Chuck and Valerie was disappointing. But it was good to see that Chuck pulled 3.3 times what Terry Madonna polled him at. Chuck did an amazing job of inspiring a lot of people. I look forward to seeing them working on future projects to bring a more progressive perspective to PA's democratic political scene.
