Tomorrow, I'm doing an invited talk at Pebble Hill Church on Chaos in our lives. I'm still researching. Any thoughts on chaos, non-linear dynamical models, etc.
What's the opposite of chaos? What are the benefits of chaos?
I'll be mentioning Prigogine, who won a Nobel prize for showing that, with chemical reactions, after chaotic, high energy activity, higher levels of order often emerge.
And in medicine, chaotic signal patterns are healthier-- when signals become static or very repetitive that is an indication, in EKG, for example of a poorer prognosis for survival.
Thoughts on fractal politics? Strange attractors and voter patterns?
add your two cents worth.
