I almost feel like the tailor in Grimm's tale, "Seven in One Blow." So far, I've been able to kill up to three in one blow. It's funny that it took this man over 50 years to get smarter than a fly.
Here's how to do it.
Wait until the fly or flies alight, landing on a surface-- horizontal or vertical. Then, clap your hands above if horizontal or in front of, if vertical. The fly will, when it detects your movement, take off and start flying, very often, right into your clapping hands.
Sometimes this just shocks them, and you have to finish them off, when they're down and buzzing, but not out. For those with anti-killing sensibilities, I guess you could use the opportunity to take the shocked fly and put it outside. Me, I remember that flies come from and produce maggots.
Five this a try and if you have success or any other buggy tricks or tips? Leave a comment.
