The proposed Medicare Buy in, in the Senate Health Care Bill, is another hustle designed to put more money into insurance corporation's pockets. First off ,the only people that will be buying into this are those eligible for the proposed national insurance pool. If you already have health insurance through work or retirement, you can't buy in no matter how useless your policy is with its co-pays, deductibles and caps. The 55 to6 4 age group will represent the most vulnerable demographic of those buying insurance. The younger and healthy buyers will go to the private policies and then your tax dollars will subsidize them and the Medicare buyers as well in the lower income brackets. Without the older, less healthy demographic going into the private group, the profits for the insurance companies will be enormous. Meantime, your tax dollars pay for the many needs of the older sicker Medicare group while the insurance companies make out like bandits. The political logic to this would be the bandits then line the pockets of the wonderful politicians who make all this possible for them. Those smart fellers in the Senate, they are always looking out for us !
