2. The trickle-down theory -- "Don't whine, you'll get pie in the sky when you die."
4. Deregulation -- "Checks and balances on power are totalitarian."
5. Compassionate Conservatism -- "Mind over matter: we don't mind and you don't matter."
6. Personal Responsibility -- "You're accountable to us; we're not accountable to you."
7. Traditional American Values -- "God said it, we believe it, and that's that."
8. The Sanctity of Marriage -- "One man, one woman, and no others need apply."
9. War on Terrorism -- "If you're not terified, you don't know what's really going on."
10. Environmental Concern -- "Destroy the ecosystem completely and we won't have to worry about it."
